Details

Amjhupi DC Eco Park covers an area of ​​72.54 acres, but within the boundaries, an additional 3.61 acres of historic Amjhupi indigo plantation is located which is now under the Archaeological Department. Ruposhi Kajla river flows south and west of this eco park. The first idea and instruction for setting up an eco park was obtained from the esteemed Divisional Commissioner of Khulna Division, Mr. Md. Abdus Samad. Amjhupi DC Ecopark started its official journey in 2016 under the patronage of Deputy Commissioner, Meherpur Mr. Parimal Singh and on the initiative of Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Md. Moinul Hasan.
